The Forty Prayers in Madinah

Forty consecutive congregational prayers in Masjid an-Nabawi is eight full days of praying, and nine or ten once incomplete arrival and departure days are counted. Any missed congregation restarts the count. Most standard packages weight nights toward Makkah, so an Arbaeen stay needs to be planned deliberately — and a hotel close enough to reach Fajr without a taxi.
