The Haramain Train Between Makkah and Madinah

The Haramain High Speed Railway links Makkah and Madinah via Jeddah and King Abdulaziz airport in roughly two hours, against four to five by road. Book on the official site weeks ahead — Ramadan departures sell out. The stations are not next to the Harams, so allow an extra hour for transfers at both ends.
